Please join us on MAY 3, 2008 for The Shakori Hills Encore- an afternoon and evening of music, dance, food and camping. It starts at 3pm and food will be available.

$12 in advance or $15 at the ticket booth, Kids 12 & under Free, parking- $2/car or FREE with 4+ people

Schedule- 3pm- BUS., 4:30 Memphis the Band, 6-7pm Dinner & Live Auction with Clyde Critters, 7pm- Rootzie and at 9pm Kelley & the Cowboys!

Dinner will be for sale- food by Chatham Marketplace chef Jeff Barney

This is a fundraising event to enhance the amenities here at Shakori Hills!

Our mission is to preserve and enhance the Shakori Hills Farmstead in order to provide an environment for community building through arts and education. In the next two years our goal is to raise the money needed to complete the purchase of the 72 acres of land and farmhouse here at beautiful Shakori Hills. We are creating a community center where workshops, festivals, camps and many more multi-cultural and educational activities can take place.

2007 brought two new annual events to Shakori Hills! Fiesta Latina put on by the Hispanic Liaison and the 1st Annual Hoppin’ John Fiddlers’ Convention. 2008 dates for these events are June 21st- Fiesta Latina and September 19 & 20- Hoppin’ John.
