Introducing the Shakori Hills Moonlight, Music & Dance series — a monthly gathering at Shakori Hills throughout the summer and into the fall, featuring …

The series is located at the beautiful Shakori Hills in Silk Hope, N.C., just outside Pittsboro. Get directions.

Picnics are welcome, and we encourage dancing and open jam sessions. We collect donations for the band via our famed “pass the fuzzy hat” method. Performers receive 100% of the proceeds. Suggested amount: $5 - $8 per adult. Any extra from the deep pockets in the audience is much appreciated. We like to reward the generosity and good faith of our artists, but we don’t want a hardcore cover charge to deter attendance when times are lean.
