Important Information for Vendor Applicants

Eligibility: All applicants must be the creators of the craft or art displayed.

Slides and Photos: Please submit at least four slides or photos of your work, and one of your booth.

Slide or Photo Description: Please describe each slide on the application form (slides are preferable to photos when possible). We would also like to have an idea of your pricing, either through a general price range of what you plan to have at the festival, or with specific prices listed for the items in your slides/photos. Please also include a self-addressed stamped envelope of the correct size and postage if you want your photos and/or slides returned to you. We are not capable at this time of handling digital photos, so please submit your application using regular mail.

Application fee: There is a non-refundable $5 application fee required which will be deposited upon receipt. Check should be made out to Grassroots Festival Organization. Do not include booth fees, etc., with your application.

FYI: The booth fee is $200 for all four days of the Festival. This fee includes: 2 weekend tickets, 1 vendor parking pass, and camping space. This fee does not include: extra vehicle passes, vehicle camping or extra tickets. If you have more assistants, you may purchase early bird tickets ($65 each) with your application, included in the booth fee check. If you plan on vehicle camping, add $50 per vehicle/camper in the booth fee check.

Electricity: An additional $15 must be added onto your booth fee check for electricity should you want it. Explain in detail your exact electrical needs and please include all amperage draws on all electrical appliances that you will bring. Contact an electrician or the manufacturer if you are not sure. Bring your own extension cords.

Spaces: Will accommodate a 10′x10′ booth. If you have an unusual sized tent or booth, please indicate it’s dimensions. This is very important because every available foot is needed to lay out spaces correctly. Set up is outdoors on grassy and possibly muddy ground. If you cannot set up on a slight incline you must indicate so on your booth description. Bring all your own display materials (chairs, tables, etc.), tarps and canopies. Booths are the sole responsibility of the crafts vendor. You must lock up your merchandise at night. Cars will not be allowed to drive up directly up to your booth space or park at your booth. There is a loading/unloading area, but be prepared to transport your supplies a short distance by hand.

**We have a few 10′ (front) x 20′ (deep) spaces available and will consider requests on an individual basis. If you are interested in a larger booth space, please note it on your application, but understand that you may not receive one. The booth fee will be $400 if approved.

Application Form: Please print clearly and fill out the application form completely. Incomplete applications will be returned.

Taxes: It is the sole responsibility of the vendors to abide by all NC state sales and use tax regulations.
